These apply from day one, to every client and every person who works on a Countbird file.

A signed NDA from every person

Everyone who works on client files signs a confidentiality agreement with Obliqua Digital Solutions Private Limited before getting access. We're also happy to review and sign your firm's own NDA.

✓ Data location

We work inside your systems

We do the work in your QuickBooks, Xero or document portal. Client data is not downloaded to personal devices or sent to personal email accounts.

✓ Authentication

Multi-factor authentication on every login

Every account we use to access client systems is protected by a second factor, not just a password.

✓ Offboarding

Access removed within one business day

When an engagement ends, or whenever you ask, every login we hold is removed within one business day.

How access works

You stay in control from start to finish.

We never need your personal credentials. You grant us our own access, and you can see and revoke it at any time.

    You invite us

    Add us as an accountant or standard user in your software, with only the permissions the work needs.

    We log in securely

    We use our own named logins, each protected by multi-factor authentication.

    You can see our work

    Everything we do shows up in your software's history and audit log, under our user.

    You can revoke access

    Remove us yourself at any time. We also remove our access within one business day of the engagement ending.

What we won't ask for

Some things we never need.

If anyone claiming to be from Countbird asks for these, don't share them, and let us know at hello@countbird.com.

  • Your online banking username or password
  • Your personal login to QuickBooks, Xero or any other system
  • Client files sent to a personal email address
  • Payment to anyone other than Obliqua Digital Solutions Private Limited
